racks baby back or spare pork ribs
1/4 cup house seasoning click here for recipe
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup red wine vinegar

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C)

  2. If the ribs still have a papery membrane underneath, place one rack at a time, meaty side down on a cutting board. At the end of the rib insert a teaspoon upside down under the membrane and, holding the membrane with a paper towel for a secure grip, peel it off. When the ribs are done, the meat will have shrunk back from the ends of the bones.

  3. Rub the ribswith house seasoning, both sides.

  4. Place ribs on roasting rack on roasting pan. Mix water and red wine vinegar together and pour over ribs.

  5. Cover with foil. Place on center rack and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours.

  6. Remove foil, cool down a bit. Attach Silpoura Clip On Spout to bbq sauce pan and smother ribs with bbq sauce.

  7. Place back in the oven for 20 minutes.

  8. Turn broiler on high and broil ribs until sauce starts to darken.

  9. Remove from oven and cool a bit.

2 cups ketchup
1 cup water
1/2 cup pineapple juice
5 tablespoons brown sugar
5 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tablespoon fresh ground pepper
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently for 1 hour - 1hour 15 minutes.

  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C).
