SILPOURA ASIAN LETTUCE WRAPS RECIPE Drain off the Grease for a healthier heart

2 tsps vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef
2-inch ginger, peeled and finely grated
2 scallions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbls soy sauce
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup hoi sin sauce
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
1 (15 1/2 oz) salt & ground pepper
1 head boston lettuce

  1. Take lettuce separate leaves, clean and dry.

  2. Cook vegetable oil and beef in skillet over medium-high heat until well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Using the Silpoura clip on strainer spout pour off fat.

  3. Stir in ginger, scallions, garlic, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, & hoi sin sauce. Cook for 1 minute.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in peanuts.

  5. Season with salt & pepper.

  6. Serve warm wrapped in lettuce cups.
